Parenthood Foundation and the Beth Jacobs Family Planning Clinic in Jamaica, 1950-1998.

       <p>Una Elizabeth (Beth) Wilson Jacobs was born in 1917, the daughter of  Dr. Wilbert
and Una Wilson.  Educated in Jamaica. President, Child Welfare Association of Jamaica 1958-
60;  President, International Planned Parenthood Federation (Western Hemisphere Region) 1958-
1961;  Foundation member and Director, Jamaica Family Planning Association Ltd.; Chairman,
Board of Governors of  St. Hilda's High School, Jamaica; President,  St. Ann Police Youth
Club.  Member,  Legislative Council (Upper House-Parliament) 1957-61.  Publications include
articles in <title render="italic">Women Speaking</title> (U.K.) and  <title render="italic">American Review of World Health</title> (U.S.A.).  Co-wrote
with husband <title render="italic">The Family</title>, and <title render="italic">Family Planning in the West Indies</title> (U.K.).</p>
