Bruce Jones is a member of the Amherst College class of 1956. He was born in Palo Alto, Calif., and attended high school in Mountain View. He earned a B.D. from Union Theological Seminary in 1959 and a Ph.D. from Theological Union. He is a professor emeritus at California State University, Bakersfield.
