James A. Weisbecker was a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark during the 1930s-1960s. He served as the Hospital Chaplain at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey for many years. He provided the church with insightful and contemporary sermons. Father Weisbecker diligently saved newspaper clippings about then-contemporary issues and incorporated these themes into his weekly sermons. He was well loved and respected by those in his parish.
