Arranged alphabetically by author.
Contains autographs letters from various American and French historical figures,
including John Adams, John Quincy Adams, John Hancock, Pierre Menard, Pierre
François Tissot, and George Washington. Also includes a letter from the Marquis de
Lafayette to Thomas Jefferson and a letter from Thomas Jefferson to Ben Franklin, as
well as documents concerning the French Revolution and the Paris Commune, among
other items.
